That’s a bit selective though? There squad actually cost less than ours and they finished on 59 points. I'm interested to see your source because I would have thought - perhaps incorrectly - that Leeds spent more last summer alone than what we paid in transfer fees for our current first team squad ...

I would like us to test the water on Brooks. It may turn our that he's out of our reach because we don't have enough money and/or bigger clubs go in for him. However if not he would certainly strengthen us in a position we must strengthen and he may be keen to return to the North West.

I honestly just didn’t see the same performance. Liverpool on another day should have won that 6-0 they missed some incredible chances no more so than Mane in the first minute. We looked ok and tried hard but in reality Liverpool didn’t have to get out of second gear. Some positives to work on, but...

There's a debate to be had about whether Cork should start next season. I think there's a good chance he should and will depending of course on what happens in the transfer window. The suggestion his legs have gone is just a baseless and therefore unnecessary criticism.
