I was hoping for a sign of a "new" Labour (not a New Labour) to take the party forward... so we could start to have a democracy again in the future... instead the impression given was another its another Champagne socialist, offering nothing but sou...

Re: Paul Nuttall - a man of integrity
I think UKIP need to take a long hard look at themselves or risk becoming completely irrelevant. Mr. Nuttall is the party leader and yet (through his or others close to himself) has become tarred as a liar and opportunist. It was Nigel's personality that dragged UKIP to the success they got and PN d...

Re: Will gaining £100 mill per season make us an attractive club to buy?
There was a long interview posted (on here I think) from the press where Mr Garlick states that they have been offered serious money to sell several times already but the current board are not interested in letting outsiders take control of the club. Outrageous if true. They may not have been impressive last night but 2-1 with an away goal is a cracking result at Saville. One of the few Premier managers I would enjoy spending time in the company of and still one of the top mangers, way above what Leicester should be expecting to attract.

I've been watching Burnley long enough not to be floored by anything. There was a time when it was more or less the norm to play like that. Getting beaten at home by the likes of Rochdale or Halifax commonplace. Just shows how things have changed its even seen as a shock .

Seems to be mostly positive. I hope your right. Good article. I read from it that Mr Garlick used the interview to cast a net out for people interested in putting some wedge in to join the party but not to takeover the club.
