Westwood absolutely brainless again. Get Cork on now else we’ll be starting Dale Stephens in the biggest match of our season.

Re: January 2022 Burnley Transfer Window Rumours - Links - Discussion

Personally I disagree regarding a really low ball bid. We offer 3m Leeds offer 5m and while we consider upping the ante, the players already agreeing terms with Leeds. I reckon a bid around 6m would get him, its lower than the 8m they want but hopefully high enough for there to be not much messing ...

Re: January 2022 Burnley Transfer Window Rumours - Links - Discussion

Jason Knight is easy low hanging fruit. No way it would take £8m - Derby are in an existential crisis.

I’m not joking when I say I’d support a Garlick-era p*sstake “test the water” bid. They can’t afford to turn it down, very low risk for us. Get the deal done.

Struggling to understand why Cornet and ASM are being compared. Two very different players. Both in the same team would be outstanding (and in worst case scenario, we’ll see that next season).

I learned my lesson from calling for Dyche’s head in 2018. It won’t benefit us, we won’t get anyone better whether we go down or not and it’ll cost a fortune. Forget Dyche.

It’s the fact we still employ players like Jack Cork in 2022 that gets me.

Brownhill is excellent at disrupting play. The agenda on here is pretty weird. Also people seem to have forgotten that Cork simply can’t do it in a 2 man midfield for 50+ minutes

If you add a right back and Dyche extension then it’s top class.

Question becomes whether this has all come too late to save us for another year. Only time can tell.

I have mixed opinions about both our takeover and Maxwel Cornet, HOWEVER one thing I am sure of is that Mike Garlick would be still 10 miles short of the fair price. And best believe he’d never get there.
