Re: Lost the Spark

Post pandemic I’m totally out of love with the beautiful game. It’s every aspect that has changed but for the worse. The constant changing/rearranging fixtures has things feeling disjointed. I’ve zero interest in international football. El Classico has lost it’s appeal with sub standard teams which...

Not just BFC, of course, unless we’re the only club who can’t get a game on. I’d just rather not have them sitting doing nothing for 6 months on their full salary. Doesn’t seem fair to me. Just stop the season and resume in march/april.

I don't see why we don't just have our football seasons running from February to December with a 4-5 week break in the summer every two years to account for WC/Euros. Who the **** wants to be watching football in January instead of July anyway?

Obviously Max isn’t world champion. The history books may say he is but it will always be viewed as a fraud. Not his fault, but he’ll be tarred with it forever. Doubt it. However under a safety car he needs discretion to make decisions. Like drive through the pits not on track. Red flag. Plus many other scenarios that could happen . Alternatively if it’s not changed then it opens up the race director just making up rules as he pleases to decide who wins every race. I suspect Michael Masi will "resign" before next season and a quiet word will be had with the new one. something along the lines of "don't make up rules. kthxbai."

I'm a Hamilton fan but I don't really get how you can say race control is corrupt given the decision in the first corner. Decisions this year and mostly favored Mercedes.
