The 2 Mee ones were definitely not penalties. Charlie Taylor got the ball. The Tarkowski one I haven't seen any clear footage of so couldn't say, maybe that could have been one. West Ham just got an absolute stinker of a penalty decision against them, that's one to be furious about.

He's already had one warning for his social media posts and the sponsors in Australia threatened to walk away over those. Sports stars should simply stay off social media but if they do then they should treat it as though they are doing a live interview. I have no sympathy for him at all.

I like this move. It's a short term signing that has quite a few positives. Our overall transfer strategy hasn't been particularly good over the last year but bringing in an experienced premier league player until the end of the season is one of our better moves.

I remember going to watch Canberra Cosmos play a game against Eastern Pride and he was on the bench. In the match programme he had magically become 2 years younger. I'm not sure what he made of the one fan wearing a Burnley shirt and drunkenly chanting his name.

Looked exactly like a player coming back from a long term injury, flashes of what we know he can do but inconsistent. I'll revisit after another 3 games as we will have a much better idea by then but so far it is promising.
