I stated our reason for not setting off to drive the 23 miles to the game ... we had 2" of Snow here and it was still snowing at 1pm ... No way were we setting off to drive over the hills to get there ... why single me out ... as for wishing for the authorities PL / FA docking points you really do ...

After reading the Times report posted by Paul Waine it appears that the match was called off primarily by the agreement of both managers. For all Dyches hard man posturing with him turning out in shirt & tie saying he was ready and wanting the game on, why didn't he insist on the game being played ?...

Wouldn't it have been better to delay it for an hour or two? Think of all the people who have travelled, paid for petrol, rail tickets (some people will have bought plane tickets) hotels, traipsed into town etc etc. Waiting 2 hours would have been the sensible thing to do. It's all rather pathetic....

It has also got to be remembered that the team is set up and plays in a style to allow Wood to score.

Amazingly, if we were able to stand the UK up onto its base ( south coast ) the International space station would crash into Burnley when it passed the UK.

It's altitude is approx 422 km above the earth's surface, which is the approximate distance of Burnley from the south coast.

Dyche has only bought Roberts for his long throw. He certainly didn't buy him for his crossing ability.
