Try Brians TV Repairs 321 Manchester Rd on the right as you go up Manchester Rd after Calderbrook Ave. He has a shop full of TVs some I think working and for sale and some I think he uses for spares for repairs.

As already mentioned The New Brew'm on St James' Row, (down the side of Barclays Bank) is great for a quiet drink or some good conversation if that is what you want, but no Sky Sports. Also if you visit on a Mondy i think it is discounted to about £2 per pint.

Phil Mathews, whilst not born in Burnley was very successful in the early 70's until his poor show for the Middleweight title in September 72 when he lost to a body shot due to a poor prep in Tenerife. He did at one time have a room sort of dedicated to him in the Prinny Royal

Whilst the other two get plaudits from some for getting into the right positions to have a chance to score (but fail) it seems Vydra gets no recognition for getting into the right position (even if it is six inches) and scores.
