We kinda were sustainable though, imo, Garlick just wanted out and withdrew further investment. More than that, and of course it's in installments but installments still need to be paid when you go down and revenue streams start to dry up. Haven't had investment to the academy to the degree that say, the Traff/Odobert/Trésor signing fees would have provided though have we? I mean I do agree with you and I'm not suggesting that we should get rid. Pretty much every club in the 4 divisions and the whole fa pyramid would sack VK if we lose against Sheff Utd next week. I’d give the plan a little longer and I think we’ll beat SU. The year after we won the third division early 80’s and were relegated the following season springs to mind, although I was pretty young at the time. We did attempt to sign the loan players. If we are still bottom of the league come end of December, there won’t be any incomings in January. Pace won’t allow Kompany any more money to spunk on “potential”. It will be a damage limitation exercise as the fact that we have spent circa 120 million on players will have a massive bearing on lif...

Going through all the threads the earliest mention I can see is from Chester Perry in august. Do you think it’s wise a managers business is involved in scouting? I’d be more concerned to know if BFC held any share in MUD. If it proves successful they’d be money to be made. Things can work both ways
