Loved how the VAR (or whatever it’s called in cricket) reached a decision quickly- no faffing around drawing lines for minutes nor looking for other errors in the run up/ delivery………and showing it on the big screens…….

Running a 10k in London, felt like I’d been shot in the neck…………no reason for it, the day after my right shoulder and arm were numb, and my neck agony……disc number 4 if I remember rightly!
Basically 12 months for me……………now it’s like nowt happened!

Would this help (or dodge) any financial fair play rules? For example player owned by Belgium club, loaned to us on much lower wages with Belgium picking up the rest?
Tho if it’s a subsidiary or Group entity FFP may relate to the Group financials………

Another departure which sort of signifies the end of/start of a new era.
Lowts has been brilliant for us and I’ve been lucky enough to meet him a few times and he seems a top bloke.

Pancreatic cancer again……….terrible news but glad they have been clear in saying it’s this type of cancer……..needs the research to detect early as the signs usually only appear when it’s too late.

Born in Burnley General 1962 lived in Colne until 1968 when my dad was offered a job in Whitstable, Kent weaving products for use in osier making. Lived here ever since but moved to Herne Bay in 1999 when Whitstable became too trendy and up its own arse. Interesting HBC…..I was born (dare I say it)...
