Re: The Catering Longside

I'm at a loss how people can't go without food or drink for a couple of hours.

I had drinks in 7 pubs yesterday and a bag of Beef Space Raiders prior to the match.

A pint in the New Brewm was £2.

No need to use the catering on the ground.

Spurs playing out from the back created them having.attacking options.

Burnley playing out from the back created Spurs having attacking options.

Passing within our own six yard box from goal kicks just invites trouble.

We need to learn. Quickly.

House lost at home to Rochdale in a game reduced to 22 overs a side. How the ground staff managed to get a game on was remarkable given that the pitch was a lake on Saturday night. Surprisingly, nearly 300 runs were scored on a wicket that was described as a 'bog' (they had to change the wicket befo...

Littleborough fully deserved their win at the House this afternoon.

Batting first the home side built a solid platform and then it went pear shaped after a delay for rain.

It was a bit of a walk in the park for the visitors with their pro doing his job.

Well done to the Boro.

Overall, the Aussies seem to have the better of the bowling attack. Our lack of a top class spinner could be an issue but Moeen offers much more with the bat than Leach. There is the factor that the visitors might want to go toe to toe with our new brand of cricket which could play into our hands. H...

I've stayed in some right dives and hovels over the years. However: In the late 90's (I think) a few of us stayed in Blackpool after a Burnley game. We did a B&B. The cost for a night was £14 which should have raised some alarm bells from the outset. A dozen of us were split between 3 'family rooms'...
