Cant help to the west of Dorchester to much, But another vote for the Coast of the "isle" of purbeck south of swanage, along from Swange to Winspit Quarry is one of my favourite places on earth. The swimming "pool" at Dancing ledge is totally worth it, you can also get into the sea easily at Winspit...
