I think you will find the issue was mainly over contract extensions, to get to the end of this season (25% left).

That is why the bench is bare....chairman did nowt.

MIGHTY CLARETS versus Wotfor?

The roar of the baying crowd will scare wotfor to death. (Probably just Dave Burnley) Big match for us. We need to quell all the disturbances of recent days and let our team of heroes make their mark. First bit of good news.... Madge has signed to the end of the season. Well done Mr G and thanks to ...

Re: The Chairman

A public siding with his players, when his chairman failed to listen, is expected of a manager wanting his team support.

The next stage should be a Chairman/Manager discussion, on future plans for both.

Hopefully, they agree the route forward.

I remain hopeful that the Chairman is able to demonstrate to Sean Dyche that the 'pennies saved' over this fiasco have led to several strong signings, not least Kieran Trippier at right back. That would keep Mr D smiling for some time.

There are two sides to the finances. 1 is the capital expenditure the other revenue/running costs. Transfer fees would be capital too and written off over the duration of the c...

Still no official news on either player.
Both are still under contract until end June.
The deadline for short term extensions, for this season, was yesterday.

Not sure how a 'new long term' contract stands up. I you are under contract until 30 June and your new deal starts 1 July, what is the issue?

They are arguing the toss, in the studio, about Sancho handball, or not. They are saying hand ball. "A couple of views and we all agreed handball, but not given". Steven Defour not having his contract renewed at Royal Antwerp.

Played 12 matches. Restricted by injury.

However, what they don't say is that they forced him to play right away, when he was not fully fit. Lasted half a dozen games, before totally crocked, when the injury flared up.

I wonder....
