Great solo goal and seemed a soft penalty, other than that Burnley have matched them.

As a defender alone, he would be right up there. However, in our system he is not known for his attacking nature which is why those on the list are 'sexier' options.

When you compare McNeil to Grealish when he was Dwight's age, there is no comparison as to who is the more valuable player.
In the next 4 years, when Dwight is the same age as Grealish is now, I would expect him to be at a similar level at a bigger club than us.

Burnley played Gremio in a friendly in 1997. I was only young but i remember there being a bit of hype about one of their players and i'm wondering if it could have been Ronaldinho? 1997/98 was his first season in professional football.

He is about 10 stone wet through and fit as a flea. Surely even after a few beers he will be feeling pi55ed. Inexcusable to drive over the limit though and should be treated the same as joe public.

Gareth Taylor is the greatest header of a ball i've seen at Burnley in my lifetime. Wood and Austin are up there. I guess with every great header of the ball there is a team mate who provides great service..

I can't fault the effort he puts in but at times he has looked desperately short on confidence. Like a lot of our players, he has magic moments (like his goal v Bournemouth a few years ago and v Chelsea) and also has his mistakes (At Anfield) but he is undoubtedly a talented player, he just needs to...
