Here is an interesting stat for everyone to consider. Middlesbrough have dropped the same number of points as Burnley since the Clarets lost at Sheffield United. As one poster indicated previously Carrick has to be a strong contender for MOTS if they gain automatic promotion as Boro were in the bot...

Just seen his goal online. He looked very lively onto an unorthodox assist from Obafemi. Darting between two defenders and finishing from a difficult angle. A nicely taken goal, no?

As much as I love SD and what he did for us, I had very much got tired of listening to him(and I think the players had, last season). I’m glad I don’t have to listen to him now.
That said, I do hope he keeps Everton up this term, and hope he gets a chance to build them back up again next season.

You'll also be cycling back, as there are no trains, just a replacement bus service. Ha! Thanks for the heads up. I did similar back in December. Cycled from Gillingham out to Whitstable for fish and chips and a few beers and on,y found out when I got there that there were no trains on for the jour...

I utterly despise VAR. It was a prominent reason, amongst others, why I took a near three year sabbatical from attending matches on the Turf and even bothering to watch them on the telly.
