Re: Team vs Leicester

We tend to put in a performance when the chips are down, but the most recent time was the display v Villa. Hoping that can be discarded as a one off. A battling performance with energy is what I'm looking for, points will be a bonus. I'd like to see McNeil tried in the no. 10 role flanked by Lennon ...

Assuming Jay and Bards miss out: Pope Lowton Mee Tarkowski Taylor Lennon Cork Westwood Brady McNeil Wood If we play two holding midfielders with McNeil in the #10 I think we could cause them problems on the break. Re: \burnley are facing a battle to survive in the Premier Lge

The tackling stat is a red herring. We've always defended as a unit and retained a narrow and compact shape. This forces teams to have pot shots or forces them wide and encourages them to play balls into the box where Mee and Tarks largely deal with it. We win the ball back by forcing the above and ...

Re: 58% Pass Success

No. No it isn't. Just so you know - long balls aren't classed as passing. We've had 70%+ a few times this season and all we did was pass it long so it's most certainly not that. Wasn't aware of that. I'd imagine those 70% were at home, not away. I care more about the win than the manner of it. I lo...

It's because we play long percentage balls. We could've dicked about with it at the back to massage that stat If you'd have liked?

Not good enough on the ball today but Everton are a very good team. Defended admirably but just not enough in the tank.

When Stoke got him off Liverpool I was gutted. Very tidy and would be a difference maker in our midfield.

That's then and this is now - so it would have to be a short term, incentive laden deal.

I don't think our style of play changed at all really, we just had more success in the second half.

He's not a very good quarterback, but its hard to see why in three seasons he's not got a backup position.
