Re: Summer 2021 Transfer Window Rumours - Links - Discussion

Have to put myself in that camp, I’m afraid. I very much thought that ALK would have a few significant US backers that would bring both financial strength and contacts that would help us grow. I think Pace & co have made some great moves to date but that prospect is looking less likely now, I have ...

Re: Summer 2021 Transfer Window Rumours - Links - Discussion

Nixon says Lookman doesn’t want to come and we ‘might’ now try and make an offer for Cornet or offer Lennon a contract. One of those is more likely than the offer. The issue seems to be players, don't want to play for us. Why is that though? Most likely the style of play. Defenders and goalkeepers ...

If Cornet was coming to Burnley, he would have signed weeks ago. He clearly doesn't fancy it and will wait until the last day of the transfer window hoping (and knowing) someone else will come in for him. We need to move on.

Southgates only mistake this tournament was to bring on late subs with no experience of the game and too young and inexperienced. But those players will learn a lot from the experience and will become better players.
