Re: Pertinent questions: How much does it cost to sack VK?
There's enough fans onside willing to give VK another crack next season so pace doesn't have to do anything & maybe even next season if things go according to plan he still doesn't need to do anything. I think VKs job is safe.

Re: Simple vote for Kompany to stay or go…no debate
Some times deals break down despite the best intentions. What all 3? It should have been recognized just how important they was to the fabric of the team & more resources & effort should have gone into getting them maybe not all 3 but at least 1. Instead a significant amount went on a goalkeeper wh...

I don’t like this argument about the quality of the Championship: it’s always a high standard. However, it’s the quality on show in the Premier League each and every progressive season, which is just getting greater. The difference is chasm-like. This is a fabulous game but both teams would be slau...

I have no real views about the owners ,however you can’t get away from the fact that they can walk away tomorrow and leave us with nothing but an horrendous debt that would probably see the end of BFC as we know it. I agree. it's different if it's a personal debt it's that persons responsibility to...

I do give credit for the way he handled Lyle Foster - I thought that was classy and it's a major plus point. Dyche was widely reported to be on 100k a week in his final contract with Burnley - I find it hard to believe that after winning the Championship last season, Kompany signed a deal for less than what his predecessor was paid. I would have thought if ALK thought there was a financial catastrophe looming with 1-2 years in the Championship then Kompany would have been long gone. Pace gave Kompany a new contract until 2028. So sacking him now would mean being prepared to pay off four years worth of his no doubt very high wages. I'm afraid coaches can only attempt to get the best out of what they have to work with. Strange how the 'impartial' media rate Trafford as either our best or 2nd best player today.
