Re: ARTICLE: Dervişoğlu signs in from Brentford
Bizarre post. Brian Stock ? Why ? Becuase there was lot of long, drawn out speculation about signing him... then it finally happened. I didn't even know Dervişoğlu was in the mix until I saw picture of him in a Burnley shirt with agent. We've probably signed someone else while typing this. Boring

Re: ARTICLE: Dervişoğlu signs in from Brentford
So we sign a player and virtually no one is interested in him, just the video. We might as well just shut the board down. The video is the only things I can comment on because I know nothing about the player. I think theres only Scott Twine who I'd heard of out all the signing so far. Everyone else...

Football is such a cut throat business now. Maybe I am a traditionalist but the mega money clubs have actually ruined the EPL for me. I wish they had left to join this European Super league. Some of the BIG clubs can't even compete now in the EPL. The clubs that get promoted to it usually go down a...

We can accept whatever we want, but his value to us in winning games and finding a replacement before the end of the window has to be taken into account. He’s worth £60m+ to us at the moment.

I think there been instances where a player coming off has received a second yellow for time wasting. It happened at Deepdale to Preston centre-back Youl Mawéné in a game against West Bromwich Albion. Having been booked five minutes earlier he was due to be substituted after suffering a shoulder in...

It's a shame that we're seeing the end of the proper sports journalists at established newspapers now. It seems anyone can become a journalist now, just add 'journo' at the end of your Twitter handle, host some shitty podcast and retweet stuff from other sources.

You also ask what could he have done with more money and resources? My opinion is probably not much more. For as much stick as Owen Coyle gets, he then took Cotterills squad, made a few shrewd signings but more importantly he boosted morale, played attacking football and got us promoted. That was ne...

In all seriousness? Really? Against Luton and Hull, he came out of his goal well to make some good interceptions and he made two excellent close range saves yesterday. The style of play, that starts with him, enables us to control the game in the first place. I just don’t rate his goalkeeping abili...

In all seriousness, if Kompany had played me in goal, rather than Muric, we’d probably have the name number of points in the league. As a goalkeeper he’s flattered to deceive so far.
