Already a bit of unrest in Italy. You can't keep people locked up forever. Hopefully things improve by the end of next month and we can start to move towards normality as China are now.
I don't see the harm in planning for when that time comes, whether that's football or anything else.

I believe some of the response to this is because we have a large part of the population who really thought eventual demise didn't apply to them. It's certainly forced some people to face up to their own mortality. Hide in your home forever if you like, you're still going to die. I'm 100% behind th...

We'll still find negatives. We're pretty much spending all we can without losing money, and still competing well at the highest level.
There's a reason that won't be good enough though, and I'm sure we'll find it here.

We've not ordered anything online for the last couple of weeks. It's easy for us to get to the shops and there's loads in again, all the shelves are rammed. I read something today about how in Germany they're planning on the mass antibody testing, with a suggestion you'll get a certificate to show when you've had it, beaten it and are now immune and not infectious. Then you can go back to work, and get out and about as usual. Just wondering, if they had...

Top boffin saying infection rate is slowing now in UK.
Globally, fatality rate of those who get it thought to be under 1%, could be well under that once asymptomatic patients are tested.
Definitely light at the end of the tunnel, if still a way off.

There is no chance any football could start in September. Even if it did as soon as another player tests positive they'd have to completely shut down the league again due to the fear it might spread. If they cancel this season I suspect we won't be having any football next season either. Not sure a...

There's no right answer, but looks to me like they're wanting to void all the leagues, just testing out reaction on the non-leagues. Aim to start again in September. Worth saying that by working you aren't particularly taking more of a risk than anyone else. We're all going to get it at some point, believing you're going to avoid it altogether by staying off for 3 weeks is a fantasy. You're helping to 'flatten the curve' in this initial wave and that's to be rec...

Yeah, it was more about the focus on the death rate and how we react but we still only test those that end up in hospital - or the rich and famous. So they’ve had it a while and then deteriorated by that stage too. Without widespread testing every response is going to be so clunky, we’ll hopefully g...
