Re: Pep Guardiola has thrown in the towel
Early this season, it wasnt working for Chelsea, so conte altered tactics. Its like pep can't do that. I don't think anyone in the country would expect City to win the league with the defence they have with Kompany out injured. and stop worshipping a journeyman manager in fat Sam. 6 clubs and hasn'...

Pretty sure nobody said Defour would be patrolling down the lett ..... Which is what ended up happening. As I say it came accross loud and clear on the stream. The commentator did say the ground was quiet when Southampton were dominating the latter part of the first half but they are based in the longside that is pretty quiet these days.

He was pretty ineffective today giving lots of cheap free kicks away.
I wish he would pack half of it in, every challenge he goes for leads to a free kick one way or the other. He can score some good goals when he concentrates on football instead.

Was loud for the first 20 minutes of the first half and then again in the 2nd.
I always feel we will score when the atmosphere gets cranked up, just wish the rest of the ground would join in before we score.

Will Kightly come in on the left? or do we just play Hendrick, Barton, Defour and Marney as a narrow Central midfield?

The 16s offered for West Ham is the stand out bet.
A side in turmoil but disguised with the 3 wins in a row against us who were at our worst, Hull who were very unlucky and Swansea who were in free fall.
They don't look to have the scrappers if they get seriously dragged into it.
