Re: VK's Coat yesterday
I’ve come to realise you don’t need a really warm coat in this country. A jumper and a padded jacket is all you need.
I bought a really warm parka a few years ago and it’s never cold enough to wear it- it probably comes out once a year.

If Dyche had been given £100m to spend then Stoke’s next financial accounts would be looking very healthy.
Dyche did his best work with us when he had little to spend. I wouldn’t have trusted him with a massive transfer budget.

The wolves game would have been a real turning point had we won, but we didn’t and I think that’s the end of any realistic chance we have of staying up. The bottom 3 look likely to be cut adrift in a few weeks.

The nations league is effectively a bunch of meaningless friendlies though, as are 99% of the qualifying games that England play.
I don’t know why anyone bothers watching these games, they’re always half-arsed tedious affairs, and would be regardless of manager.

Good to see Obafemi back on the grass. We can’t be taken seriously starting a 34 year old Jay in the PL, a player who’s averaged one league goal per year at this level since he turned 30.

You can cook onions for ages without burning them. A base gravy for a curry starts with cooking onions and a few other bits for at least an hour
