The money is barely a positive as it is almost 100% funnelled out of the club via increased transfer fees, wages and agents costs.

Previous auditors (who signed off the last accounts) were Azets. They're a top 10 firm and more than capable of doing Burnley's accounts. (They do Nottingham Forest's for instance). I’m personally most concerned about why we’d need to change auditors. A financial audit is an administrative practice and so I don’t see why we’d choose to change to “improve” the club or “move it forward”. No surprise really. His goalscoring ratio is worse at Utd than it was at Burnley, which was godawful. Get rid as soon as we can. He’s proved in 2 separate PL spells he’s not cut out as a PL striker. A good 20 minutes at a World Cup does not a great player make.

Sell him to a team in some farmers league where he can go back to bagging 1 in 2.

He’s done nothing at Utd to suggest he’s anything other than out of his depth at PL level.

His scoring record in the foreign leagues shows he’s not a defensive forward, but PL managers are making excuses for his lack of goals by saying he brings other things to the side.
