Re: Is that the turning point?
Would be very interested to know if anything has changed within management and playing staff since the Newcastle loss. I remember when we lost to Hull at New Year, the year we won the Championship, a crisis meeting was called to clear the air. We also brought Joey in - his signing gave us the impet...

Re: Anyone joining these guys doing a dry January?
I don't do Dry January. I don't drink that much these days, so don't really feel the need. Once a week I might share a bottle of wine with my missus or maybe have a couple of cans of hoppy ale, and that's about it. We like to get out in the open air, either hiking or on the bikes, rather than waste ...

Re: REPORT: A horrible afternoon at Elland Road
I too love the Championship and I probably watch more games on TV from that league, than Prem. My fear is, if we can't get back, and the chute money runs out, then we will be well and truly in the do-dar. But that's a long way off and I hope it never comes to it.

Re: Ok.....Lets See....
I was angry yesterday when said I didn't know whether we should keep with Dyche, should we drop. On reflection, if we end up in the Championship, then we have to see where we are by the beginning of December. However, from now on in, I expect the team to start busting a gut for us - starting at 15.0...

At the moment, I can't see us ending the season with anything close to 26/28 points. My only hope is that we pull off a couple of shock results in the next four games and get 4 points. This would get our season right back on track. Hope dies last, as they say.

Re: Nail your colours to the mast
I think we stay up but that was a body blow. I don't think we'll stay up. Our points per game tally over that last 12 months has been woeful, and the change in form would have to be astronomic. I've always said that Dyche deserves another go at getting us out of the Championship should we go down, ...

It's bread and circuses. A few high profile names, to get us plebs and the tabloids chattering, while rewarding rich party donors, and it doesn't matter who is in power, it still the same show. It's tarnished, and should be scrapped.

She did not take the stand and told the court that the prosecution had not proved its case, so there was no need for her to testify. I'm sure the jury would have taken this into account while deliberating. An overprivileged fool's arrogance, kind of sums her up.

D of Y is wriggling like a worm on the end of a hook. He's willing to grasp onto anything, no matter how tenuous or ridiculous it makes him look. And the more he does it, the more he tarnishes the Royal Family. On another note; an old neighbour of ours served on Britannia for a couple of years. He w...

This is fascinating, and quite emotional too when you consider that it was back to the killing once the unofficial truce was over. If they were being scored out of 10 - they just might manage to scrape 2 points if their cathedral was Norman, but it isn't, so they get none. Mind you, a number 2 kind of sums the whole place up.
