Let’s not forget that’s Barry Kirby also did alright for himself with the sale and subsequent repurchase of Turf Moor and Gawthorpe before laying into Brendan Flood over his loan criteria.

Personally I didn’t have a problem with either putting their money in at the time, whatever the caveats were.
