Re: Not Flagging Offsides

My issue is that when we win the ball back from an attack, the linesman waves the delayed flag, and then the referee stops play, which kills the advantage after we win back possession. It kills the momentum, the opposition has regrouped, and I'm not sure if the time is added on for the free kick to...

Re: Six Points From Safety... Everton A Must Win?

Realistically we were consigned to relegation some time ago, but the recent run of results and good performances has left us with a very outside chance. A good point last night although we've left ourselves in a position where points at home to bottom half/middling teams is not going to cut it. On a...

Great support from just over 1,000 clarets. Tony is pretty accurate with his estimation of our following so to get grief for stating a fact is a unnecessary in my view. There were a few ‘tourists’ again though in the upper deck. Can’t say I blame them if they got the tickets at a reasonable price. ...

Re: RATE THE REF - Darren England v Chelsea

When the ref gives a penalty, VAR will not overturn it unless they can prove that the forward was not touched. If there was the merest touch, then it will be confirmed. That's the way the powers that be think it should be done, for the time being. Exactly. Even though I was apoplectic when it was g...

Sure there’s more to it than half a game. But if Ipswich win they will be just 3 points behind where we were at this stage of the season.
