Re: LiVARpool get the VAR footage
Seems to me that this particular issue is easily remedied with better communication between Stockley Park and the on field official. Barking ‘check complete’ without making it clear what the check was for and whether or not to award a goal seems nonsensical and symptomatic of the abysmal way VAR is ...

I really think you are nitpicking to an unnecessary degree. The point is that if a Muslim says "my religion decrees that ..... and as such I declare that ..... will all go to hell", then: 1. You can accept it, by which presumably we mean saying nothing and letting it go by. 2. You can refuse to jud...

Re: Clarets sign Muslim Athlete Charter
The specific point is that this charter says that if a Muslim makes any sort of comment about any matter pertaining to his faith, it should be accepted without judgement. It's only one point of 10 in the charter, but it's a highly dubious one. Christians do not have (nor, in most cases, do they exp...

VAR needs scrapping full stop. I can accept referees making spur of the moment mistakes, they’re only human. But mistakes after the chance to analyse, the chance to consider the ‘implications’ of a decision, it’s all worse than the situation it was supposed to be helping IMO.

I’ve been saying this for three years. Everton need relegating to re-build. They have flirted with it too long and they absolutely need it.
