Brilliant from England and Stokes. He has totally manufactured that result with a declaration that I thought was way too generous. Hats off also to Jimmy and Ollie Robinson for some phenomenal bowling with the old ball.

Great memories of that win on New Year's day 1966 from Ralph Coates sitting on the ball, the fan attempting to attack Adam Blacklaw and Brian Wren being ejected from the stand for calling Bryan Douglas something uncomplintery. Wrenny hadn't realised he was sat behind Douglas's wife!

Wasn't that the game when Bob Lord fell out with the BBC forcing them to remove their cameras from Turf Moor? [fquote] Indeed it was. I was 10 years old and wasn't able to go to the replay as I was poorly. So I was very happy when I found out the game was live on TV. Then Bob Lord stepped in

Well done to Littleborough and yes, Hare Hill is a lovely ground, but then again I can't think of a LL ground which isn't really. The club house always seems to be thriving at Littleborough too and is a very vibrant place on match days. Tbf Church must be kicking themselves for not chasing down onl...
