I hope he enjoys the twilight of his career. His signing was a marker in the rise of our club, and when fit was a joy to watch. On a family holiday we all went to a KV v Clubbe game, KV winning with 10 men. The atmosphere created by a 12000 sell out crowd was brilliant.

I decided to skip Old Trafford in favour of an overnight stay in Manchester the following week for a gig. I have to say I regret that decision. I should have gone to both and sod the cost! I did go to the Southampton game and had a brilliant weekend, but missing that Old Trafford win still rankles.

What is the media's obsession with having female pundits for men's sport? They've ruined TMS and are all over the BBC highlights programme. I can cope with watching with the sound off, but a bit of a pain turning the sound down every time they speak on TMS.
