Re: New Speeding fines / punishments have been introduced.
But what happens if everyone is driving at 70mph. I assume that lane one would be full whilst lanes 2 and 3 would be empty. If anyone is driving in lanes 2 or 3 they must either be speeding or lane hogging by this theory. It's a hypothetical I haven't come across. And I wasn't advocating sticking r...

Re: New Speeding fines / punishments have been introduced.
It depends on the circumastances of course. But generally speaking somebody doing 50 mph in the middle lane is NEVER dangerous - annoying yes but not dangerous. (The danger comes from the guy behind who doesn't notice them until too late - or the guy who undertakes them). I cannot agree with your c...

Re: New Speeding fines / punishments have been introduced.
There are occasions when 20mph is too fast and others when it is too slow. Driving requires constant decision making. The speed limits and the way they are policed allow the authorities a broad brush approach and not to treat each situation on it's merits. Speeding fines are a cash cow, as are parki...

There are over 7 billion humans on this planet. The social engineering projects going on around the world will have collateral damage, extremely important to those directly affected, not so to the engineers. They sit above the maelstrom. A sort of detached interest. Think Jason and the Argonauts.

In most if not all of the away games, we've been slow to support the strikers from midfield, particularly with runs beyond them.

The drop of the shoulder or feint one way move the other is class personified. It creates space which we are not yet able to exploit. He needs a good run in the team for us to see the benefit. He's worth the entrance money.

Leeds v Chelsea 1970 on TV. I watched the replay too. I remember wanting Chelsea to win, though I don't know why as I was only 7. Later that summer I watched the World Cup which cemented my love of football, even though neither my mum or dad ever showed much interest in football.
