I think with HWB out, Taylor slots in left Center back alongside Beyer. maatsen at left back and roberts at right back....
McNally has looked OK but replacing HWB is a tall order.
Was surprised that Egan-Riley wasn't first choice at center back.

it's more than just a money saving exercise, though, isn't it? It allows us to bring it some new potential first teamers who will be under no particular pressure to hit the road running. I would agree its not just the money (although it should have been criminal for Dale Stephens to take a wage as l...

That’s three out, soon to be four assuming the medical is passed. Credit to Pace for this restructure, it’s impressive and reassuring in equal measure (wage bill slashed in case we don’t go up). I'm happy to have the players move on, but i doubt we are saving much money in the short term. Its not l...

Just my two cents… THB is destined for a top 6 squad, and could possibly break into man city’s squad in a couple of years. Our best bet is another year of him on loan. I think we eventually sign beyer. Maatsen is tricky because he doesn’t have a future at Chelsea but could get massive money from ano...

Still a lot of season left to go.... i'm not sold on Wolves since they can't seem to score goals. Fulham seems to being well enough to say up so at least one established team will go down.
I think it is safe to say that outside the top 6, every team is in a relegation battle.

In no way is he a good shot stopper. Most good shot stoppers , make good saves, which in the main he doesn’t. his penalty save was fantastic, especially from the view from behind the spot. You can easily see that Muric was trained in the man city mold: good with the feet and distribution, good shot stopper, not so good in the air. At 6’6” he should command the box but doesn’t. I don’t think his center backs are helping out (hwb and beyer are good but dominate the air). If tarks was in...

INteresting when people think that a penalty should be given when the player drags his left leg so that it colllides with the keeper when he has no chance of winning the ball, however, the same people don't think that it is a free kick if a player tries to jump over an opponent's leg and goes down....

As a non-finance person, I applaud the effort taken here by posters to sort through the financials to see where our club stands. How are the footpaths within the town?
Not to get off topic, but I'm planning a trip there next year, and noticed that some of the google maps show footpaths (specifically there is one near the Holiday inn on M65). Wasn't sure if people used them or it is a place to stay away from.
