Yes, needed a result at Forest last week, but if they win their games in hand they’ll be a point behind. Need Forest to drop points from their last three.
We certainly seem head and shoulders above everyone bar Forest.

Does it matter whether Pace is a visionary or a very lucky man? The main thing is worked out very well. It’s the same with the Dyche appointment. I know a lot of people like to say that the Championship this season has been poor, but you look at the 9-10 sides in the bottom half of the Prem and wonder if this is a particularly bad year in the top tier.

The problem with feeling the need to always have a firm opinion on every scenario is you’re going to to be wrong a lot.

I’m probably in a minority in not holding Wout’s departure last summer against him. I thought his reasons were clear and understandable. Whether he’s now the right fit for us is a different question and only VK can answer that. I think the interesting dilemma is how we balance youth and experience n...

I recall some of the panic on here after those friendly results in preseason.
To be fair though, not even the most optimistic fan could have predicted this season. It’s way beyond expectations given the circumstances we faced last summer.

Probably the right decision, but if you were now choosing between retaining Barnes or Jay for one more year, you might go for the former. Didn’t nearly everyone predict the summer was going to have a massive over haul? I mean we literally had 11 players out of contract and had to sell our saleable assets to balance the books. Exactly my point. The law still stands. It's either a law or it isn't. And while it is, there is no excuse for not applying it. It's not as though it's open to interpretation, it's purely factual. I know we did it plenty in the Prem, but does anyone know what the actual rules/directives to referees are these days? Every goalkick in the second half last night was the same. I think most posters recognise that a system based on a rolling period is an improvement on the current situation. Even one based on season tickets is preferable to what we have now. The only ones who seem to want the current system to remain are those with huge points totals. In a rolling system, t...

I’d rather support a system that works over a rolling period. Those with the most points would still have top dibs but if those people stop going as much over, say, a 5 year period, you’d allow those with less (likely younger fans) points chance to get to big games, which is more likely to breed th...

How is the system broken? It works perfectly well for 90% or so of games. The only time that it's questioned is for games where demand massively outweighs supply but there is no alternative system that can address that issue. If you read through the whole of this thread there are numerous suggestio...

It is based on season tickets. You have to have the points and a ST to qualify. Is that true? I’d never thought about how points are accrued until this week, but based what I’ve read on this thread, could there not be fans with 10k+ points who didn’t buy a season ticket this year or even last? I’m ...

If I’ve understood the current system correctly, you get 350 points per season ticket and 10 points for every away game. On that basis if you landed on the planet 10 years ago and a) had a season ticket every year since and b) somehow bought a ticket for every away game in the last 10 years, you’d h...
