FWIW, I've just posted this message on the official Wolves fb site: "I'm a Burnley fan but above all a football fan. Long, long, long ago, prior to the abolition of the maximum wage, Wolves and Burnley were two of England's leading clubs. Ron Flowers played many times against Burnley and is, indirec...

Re: ARTICLE: League leaders Fulham at Leyland
I too enjoyed watching it. First time I've seen a live U23 game. Fulham did look a class team but we weren't bereft of ability. I thought Sam Waller looked pretty good. I like the look of Finlay Armstrong. Only 18 but he looks a player to me. Helm looked good when on the ball as did Tucker but unfor...

We don't really know Connor's fitness. I sincerely hope the lad plays but I think SD will be looking to give him, say, 45 minutes or max. 60 minutes hopefully with a view to his featuring against Brentford.
Matej has to start for me.
No risks re. Max, keep him in the cotton wool.

It's not a must-win. How can it be when there will be 28 games left after this one? And if we're that crap even a win against Brentford won't save us.
However, it is clearly a "will feel much better if win match".

We ARE catching up but we have a long way to go still. Our U18s drew 1-1 away to Arsenal in a cup match last week. It was fairly close to their usual line-up that are third in the PL U18 South Division. We have stepped up enormously in just five years or so. But it takes time. A lot of time.

I think we'd all love to see MV get a run of goals to see just what he can do. His technical ability is, for me at least, patently obvious. He just needs to get a few goals and start a streak. He's shown signs of it but just not got there.
