Re: Robertson and Maguire
I don't think anyone is suggesting that. But Hull havent gone down because every player in their ranks isnt up to the job - any more than Heaton and Mee and Ings weren't up to the job because we went down two years ago. At the end of the day the difference between surviving and going down relegatio...

Thanks everyone for the advice. Have just ordered new MacBook Pro 2016, so will see how it goes. I took the view that if I never tried it I would never know what it was like, so thought I would give it a go. Managed to get education discount too, so saved £150. Still cost a small fortune though. Free transfers aren't really free though are they? They cost similar but the money just goes to the player in signing on fee and higher wages instead of the selling club. All it means when you sign a free is that you don't have to reach an agreement with another club, just the player and his agent.

Defensively we are very solid and I'm confident Tark will prove to be an adequate replacement for Keane. It is up front where we are lacking, with our goals scored column one of the worst in the league. This is clearly where we really need to invest, but goal scorers at this level don't come cheap!

If Defour leaves in summer, which would not be a huge surprise, the n we are going to need to sign at least two central midfield players. Defour is a classy player but becoming increasingly clear that he is not fitting into the system.

All that it will lead to is employers reducing the number of ordinary holidays that employees can take resulting in people having less flexibility around when they can take a break. Personally I would prefer to have no bank holidays and an extra 8 ordinary holidays instead.

Defour needs to play in a midfield 3. He just doesn't have the physicality to play in a two and he is certainly not a wide midfield player. We looked good when we played 4-5-1 with Hendrick pushing on to support the striker. We are more solid with the 4-4-2 but there is less creativity. Defour is ou...

Problem away from home is that we struggle to score, which basically means if the opposition get a goal then we either draw or lose. In first half Vokes had two really good chances but wasn't clinical enough to finish them. Penalty aside, which was a gift from their keeper, we created nothing in the...

There are also potential funds to come from a sale of Andre Gray if he does not sign a new contract (would need to be sold otherwise as in last year of his deal) and wages from George Boyd if he decides to leave when his contract runs out in summer.
