Not sure, but they were reading out the figures as if from
a factual document.
I've heard before that Wood was our highest paid player at£50k per week.

They were looking at rates of around 4% which is being achieved, that’s with 1% charges. Also the older you get the less you spend, if you get to 90 and not gaga your not going to be spending lots of money. You have to work out what you want out of retirement. My alternatives are £13 k a year final...

The examples by lansdown Hargreaves are just based on assumed growth rates and can't be taken as read. If you are drawing down £6k a year from a £100k pension pot from age 60, there is a very strong likely hood of running out of money if you lived to say 90. Without doing the sums, you would need s...

Talksport were discussing earlier the astronomical wages in football, even for players who would not be considered as big names. Gave examples from a number of clubs and stated that Wood was on £50k per week. Also mentioned Gray being on £70k per week at Watford.

As said above, he hasn't been given a chance to date. I think he looks quite lively when he comes on for a few mins and I would like to see him given a proper try. We have really good keepers, defence and midfield all able to compete at this level. Our weakness is attack and lack of goal scoring (Hu...

80th minute when behind is far too late. Should have been at least 10 minutes earlier. He leaves it too late far too often. Completely agree. There needs to be a more positive and quicker reaction when we've gone behind midway through the second half. Should be looking at getting back into the game...

His play in the final third today was shockingly bad, particularly in the second half. He clearly doesn't have the speed of thought required at this level, hesitates when in a good attacking position and invariably makes a hash of it. He needs replacing.

I don’t want to put a downer on this signing, but SD often speaks about players fitting in and core values, the new signing should fit in and understand the ethos and structure of the group, Arron Lennon doesn’t strike me as that type, I don’t think we could sell him on in a few years time for a pr...
