Re: Are we really doing that badly

Palace completely out played us that day, gifting us a goal and employing Benteke to miss copious chances. It was clear they had some quality. Agreed, but it's also clear that we've got some quality AND if we can get Mee back we'll certainly have more defensively. And, as I said above, we've been o...

We're not doing quite so badly as Palace who about 3 years ago lost every one of their opening 9 games (including at the Turf) and still survived reasonably easily!! I keep clinging on to that!!

Re: Are we really doing that badly

Yes, we are, BUT we have to be honest and say the S'oton goal was somewhat fortuitous as it was ultimately a ricochet and their goalie made a worldy of a save from Taylor's shot and we could easily have got a point (deserved or not) AND the West Brom goalie did exactly the same from Barnes where we ...

Re: Can we survive in the PL WITHOUT outside investment?

We've done exceptionally well for 5 years and that's been with minimal investment, but actually (mostly) very shrewd investment and just enough investment to keep us competitive and safe. IMO we really didn't need huge investment this summer, but we did need more of the same, targeted and realistic ...

I still maintain it's in danger of becoming a media circus when I would expect better of Garlick and of any decent potential buyer.
And it's really not that hard to become the next "basket case". You're only ever one greedy owner cashing in by selling to somebody he probably hasn't even met!

His name escapes me, but no doubt he'll be along at some point. This "takeover" is rapidly becoming a public joke!

I want Dyche to sort himself out. He seems to me a big cause of our lack of morale. I accept that injuries and our financial situation with Covid are factors but him sniping in the media after the restart and into this season was out of order. We'd be far better off giving Benson or whoever a go as at least they'll put a shift in and they MIGHT turn out to be good enough (like McNeil did). We already know Brady isn't good enough, so why keep chucking him on?
