BERNLEY TEA

Not living in the town I was wondering if Bernley Tea (spelt differently to Burnley) had any connection with Burnley. My son , recently returned from a holiday in Russia , and knowing I am a fan of the team, brought me some back as a gift. The package shows our Houses of Parliament which would seem ...

Rising Damp deserves a mention as one of the best. (Freeview has many repeats of previous comedies but to watch them is a bit painful and sad as they have not 'aged' well. Re: Burnley wrongly denied of a legitimate goal.

I do wonder if the emotion surrounding the game played a part in this decision. The home fixture and remembering the death of the owner in such a fashion could have swayed the decision makers to 'reward' Leicester and enjoy the celebration of 'no goal.' By any reasonable yardstick it was a perverse ...

I too think the goal at Everton was the best team goal but for sheer atmosphere, skill , re-action from the stands and long in the memory, it has to be Robbie's against Man Utd.

I too was diagnosed with this type of cancer. I was assured that both types of treatment had an equal chance of success so I chose radio therapy as I did not fancy surgery and having to wear a 'bag' for a couple of weeks. It has been trialled and basically was a failure. There was a pre-season competition in the 70's called the Watney Cup and as an experiment there was no offside rule. It took defenders about half an hour to get to grips with it and the hope that it would lead to more attacking football and hence mor...
