Personally I don’t think the deal fell through because of £1m difference as that should have been easy to resolve by both parties - eg meet in the middle and for the sake of £0.5m I can’t see why either club would let the deal fall through. Deal at West Brom was £70k a week apparently and we were offering him £50k.
