Re: My Prostrate Diagnosis
The alternative is to have a catheter for the rest of your life. Please take all of my bits of advice and think positive. While you are waiting for a date for your op definitely get a flip flow valve which is so easy for you to fit and use during the day. 100 times better than having a bag strapped ...

Re: My Prostrate Diagnosis
For me the flip flow valve was a god send. And a hundred times better than a bag. So easy to use and not bulky at all. You won't regret having one during the day.

Re: My Prostrate Diagnosis
I would still strongly advise you to be proactive and in regular contact with the hospital to get you an appointment for your op. What with doctors whether consultants or junior doctors on strikes it can take many months to get an operation date. Oh and another tip is that when you are actually on t...

Re: My Prostrate Diagnosis
I had catheters for 8 long months! 3 months here in the Philippines and 5 months in England. I used to have a half litre bag at night time. And during the day I changed to a flip flow valve which doesn't require a bag. I just had to open the valve every time I felt I needed to pee and then after uri...

Apologies for doing another thread but I didn’t want anyone to miss it. As some on here wanted an update after my visit last night to the Hospital to see the Urologist here it is Background. I also want to very strongly recommend to you guys of a certain age to definitely book a PSA test. I had my first one back in 2011 and had a biopsy after which I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. My Gleason score was 6 so very low level of cancer. This meant I was put on watch and observe which la...

I think these Bully XL dogs feel no pain whatsoever.
You can hit them over the head with a spade and still it makes no difference.

Re: Pineapple !! Pineapple...it's a step to far.
I like pineapple but if I have too much it can give me a sort of indigestion.
Over here in the Philippines they eat pineapple and put salt on it. Mind you they add salt and far too much of it to everything.

Get rid of VAR but keep the goal line technology only.

Re: A Claret under the knife today
Mel, I’m due in on 6 Feb for a scan or whatever they do in order to decide what’s required, basically I had a knee replaced two weeks ago and couldn’t pee afterwards, I have instances of needing to rush for a pee, up through the night etc, I take a tablet to help the flow, anyway they fitted a cath...

To me he's just a fellow human being living on this planet of ours.
And of course I wouldn't expect him to have been recovering on the bed next to mine.
It just doesn't seem right.

Re: A Claret under the knife today
I had to have prostate surgery in December 2023. It took me many months of being on the waiting list and me having to chase and chase to get it done when I did. I found it very stressful not knowing when my operation would be and then of course if it would be cancelled possibly at the last minute. I...

From The Mail so may want to take it with a grain of salt: "Coventry City's English attacking midfielder Callum O'Hare, 25, is out of contract in the summer and being monitored by Southampton, Burnley and Leicester City." With the Mail it's normally only politics where they talk a load of boll*@ks.
