There’s literally loads of Burnley fans in Rochdale.
Ellen Smith's coaches used to bus them in during the 70s.

Steve Wright Saturday mornings followed by Adrian Juste in the afternoon were a big part of my pre match routine in the early 80s.

Agree 100%..........Some great reminders recently of the top-class players to represent our Club down the years. One game I'd specially like to see again is the Burnley v Liverpool home win from April 1966.......Don't know if you can oblige, gawthorpe_view ?? I'll have a look but there's very few h...

Geniuine question… why does the keeper clash? Are we talking for the colour blind? I see no problem with the keeper clashing with his team-mates below the waste, where any part of the body can legally play the ball and all that matters is that a foul was committed by a member of the Coventry team, ...

I miss goalkeepers wearing green shirts and team shorts and socks… and looking for all the world like they belong to the same club as the outfield players.
My love for the Claret V remains, the first kit I saw my team wear.
Bit of a colour clash for the Coventry goalie!

I’ve had some great car advise on here before so was wondering if anyone can help. My wives car (2010 VK golf diesel) keeps stalling when in neutral. It happened yesterday at traffic lights and she was unable to get it going. The car would restart but then stall again whilst in neutral after a coup...

I can never understand why anyone would want our closest rival to go out of business and cease to exist. What is: Tom without Jerry Popeye without Bluto Batman without the Joker Den Perry without Brian Potter It's rubbish, that's what it is. I want our rivals there, just to beat. Just remember how ...

Overnight rain has frozen leaving untreated surfaces very slippery in the Padiham and Burnley areas.
Side roads are particularly bad.
Please take care out there this morning.

I wonder how successful bfc would have been if they hadn’t moved to turf moor
Decent catchment area initially, but lousy for parking now, although excellent motorway links, eventually.

Smurfit’s was under the arches . The entrance yes, but the large mill and quite expansive yard bordered Stoneyholme Rec. The banking that separated the rec from the mill is still there, it's the northern edge of college car park. Also note Grosvenor Street is shown on the map is the entrance, down ...

I thought he was just trying to waste time, generally does come back to bite you on the arse
When the ball was down the Cricket Field end of the pitch he was constantly stretching out against the goal post and on the grass.

I think the success rate for corners is 5%.
Will be a lot higher with us defending!!!
Equates to 0.9% conversation rate.
Chance conversion rate in open play is a pitiful 10%.

You can also add corners to 'must do better' half-term report.
110 corners this season resulting in just a single goal.
