I am sad to see Andre go. He was the right player at the right time to get us promoted. He had one year left on his contract. The board have tried to deal in a way which is best for Burnley. I am sure they would have preferred the timing to be different but there are other parties involved. We have ...

I was at Wembley and strongly disagree. Jay made some really good runs which were ignored by the more experienced players who kept choosing to give the ball to more established players in worse positions.Diesel wrote:His England debut was the worst 'debut' I have ever witnessed.

I think it is wise to always keep a piece of string which is a bit longer than you need. You could always cut a bit off if necessary.Sidney1st wrote:Why have you got string that long?

Heaton is unlucky in as much as we have four very capable goalkeepers at our disposal. I'd suggest that he's currently ahead of Butland due to his injury woes and Forster on form. However he'll need to move if he wants to be England's number one. If he was playing for Liverpool or even Everton he'd...

To decide whether this is a success you have to decide what the purpose of a football club is.
If it is to accumulate as much money as you can from a hardcore group of supporters then it is not a success.
If it is to provide enjoyment for a community at an affordable price then I think it is.

I am very hopeful we get our first away win today. I expect Defoe to get his obligatory goal against us but we will have too much for them. Season ticket question
I am planning on getting a season ticket for my dad who is a pensioner.
He won't be able to go to every game next season so I would like for my sister to be able to use it.
If I get him a pensioner's ticket is it possible to pay the difference on a per game basis when my sister goes?
