Re: Special memories of following our great Club.

Born in 1962 and my family moved to Kent in 1968 so most of my time following the club we love has involved watching games at Orient, Brentford, Wimbledon. Never dreamt that I would ever see Burnley play in the premier league so even though this season is tough it still fills me with pride. My speci...

Wait until we both get knocked out of the FA Cup early and play on one of the free Saturdays.

Do we still have a winter break these days?
I think our winter break was unscheduled and was yesterday.

Went to Peterborough many times - a big wide track which offered the real racers a chance. If tonight matches the first leg it should be a good watch.

Remember Anders Michanek - we also went to Ipswich to see Ivan Mauger but got stuck in traffic, arrived after first race abs found that Mauger had crashed and broken his leg. We also went to the world final at Wembley when Bruce Penhall won the title - he later went on to appear in CHIPS on tv.

Looked like Croft walked even though replays seem to show he hadn’t hit the ball. Vilas was a very tame dismissal - bad light has stopped play now.

Amazing achievement considering the number of senior players who have been lost to injury, international calls etc and the just few games have given some of the younger players vital experience which augurs well for the future.

It is a good ship - very strict on mask wearing - even if you are in the theatre or casino. Only time you don’t have to wear a mask is when you are drinking. No self service in buffet and finding seats is a bit difficult especially as we are on a slow trawl to Belfast abs weather not too great. Lift...

Why they played Gleason is beyond me - he has been struggling with injuries all season which clearly showed with the lack of rhythm and number of no balls. Could have played Hurt who, although expensive at times he has also picked up a few wickets in earlier 20/20 games.

I think Dyche worked miracles with Sam Vokes - improved his fitness and strength, instilled confidence and belief in a player where it was seriously lacking. One of Sean’s great strengths is man management and he has got the best out of many average players during his time here.
