I was once watching Ashley Barnes warming up before a game with Westwood. They were hitting long balls to each other the full width of the pitch, one touch and fire back. Barnes' first touch, control and accuracy with his cross back was very impressive whereas Westwood was pretty average. I watched...

Whatever way you look at it, it’s stunning.

To think we used to have to collect for transfer funds with buckets at the turnstiles.

However it reinforces the horrible side of modern football where money rules. At least we have some humility within our team.

When Ings scored at Deadwood a WPC was seriously concerned about my health and repeatedly kept checking I was ok. I’m not sure whether she thought I was going to have a heart attack or if she feared my head would explode.

2 local schools closed & 6th form girls from our high school who went on ski trip to Italy sent home and directed to “self-isolate” for 10 days. A bit close to home for me as it includes my lads girlfriend and our next door neighbour.

I think the OP has a fair debatable point. I think Barnes is great. Horrible to play against. Wonderful asset for us. I watched his shooting practice pre- game before he was injured.
