Cornet has never really played no 10 as far as I know. He did play up front earlier in his career but is a winger (both sides) really.

Not sure how true any of this is. You might be reading a little bit too much into it. Dyche has said all along he would like to play a more attractive brand of football and that he is aligned with the owners.
Dyche sounded almost grateful to the owners for the cornet signing. Surprised even.
