Biggest challenge to rebuilding a stand when you’re selling out most weeks is where to put the people you’ve displaced.

Re: The Sun again - Kompany & Spurs
Ideally this needs to be put to bed one way or the other by the end of May. I’d imagine any uncertainty over VK’s future dragging out into the summer months is going to really disrupt our efforts to prepare for what’s already going to be a challenge to stay up/compete. Not least because there may be...

Another way to look at this is that Kompany’s agent is planting stories to get him a better contract and/or bigger transfer kitty.

Re: The Sun again - Kompany & Spurs
For me what Kompany represents is the hope that we might upset the odds for a season or two. I’m not talking European qualification, but with clever recruitment, maybe we finish midtable, playing attractive football and take a few scalps along the way. There might be another manager out there who co...

Re: The Sun again - Kompany & Spurs
Be pretty devastating if he left us now.
If it happens though, you’d have to hope it doesn’t drag on. Any planning advantage we got from an Easter promotion would be thrown out of the window. I’d imagine his presence is a huge part of efforts to persuade the likes of Tella to join permanently.

Didn’t realise the young man was unwell again. I thought I’d read he was in remission.
Heart goes out to him and his family, but hopefully his experiences this week have brought them some relief.

Tough one. Been so many fantastic contributions. My favourite player to watch has been Benson. Zaroury was unplayable at times pre-World Cup, but Benson consistently made a difference in the games he featured in. All of that said, I also enjoy watching Beyer play and he’s been crucial to what we do,...

Complaint made. EFL quickly compare two team sheets. Complaint dismissed.

The way to stop it is to insist that any player who holds the game up through injury, has to go off and not return until the next break in play. Rough on those who are genuinely injured, but that's less than 10% of "injury" holdups. If the players are going to collectively cheat, then they will hav...

Couple of things for me. First one, we just look tired. Whether that’s physical or mental, it’s important to remember that we’re a very young team and a lot of our players are experiencing this level of workload and playing in so many “big” games for the first time in their careers. The second facto...
