It is impossible for some people to learn your limit and stop one before. Some people just keep going til oblivion.

Re: has anyone stopped drinking completely?

Yep. Am on day 28 now. Was getting worried about how often and how much I would drink. Was piling weight on and quite frequently getting totally wasted. Feeling much better, and the biggest help has been alc free beer. The Brooklyn one is very good.

Good riddance to Thomas Cook. I have wished them nothing but the worst since their response to the carbon monoxide deaths.

Re: Match of the Day

I was at the City game yesterday. Should have been at least 11 nil. Never seen a better team. Amazing that Watford had taken a point off Arsenal only the week before and City had lost at Norwich. The atmosphere at the Etihad isn’t amazing but the stadium and the experience can’t be knocked.

He lives in Leeds. He must be absolutely skint to be rocking up at WMCs for £500 after a career of footballer’s wages and then a period of TV celebrity (remember Celebrity Love Island).

The ‘football experience’ (pies, beer etc) gives me the most awful flatulence from well before kick off to well into the next week. I have however discovered charcoal tablets which have changed my life. Still get quite a bit of ‘shock and awe’ but devoid of any odour.

Cycle hire place at Brockenhurst station. £20 to rent a bike for a few hours and then cycle down the tracks in the New Forest, pub stop etc. I did it the other week and it’s really good. Generally flat too.

Legalising drugs would be a good start. So much of the gang war is driven by Londoners' insatiable demand for Cocaine.

Also housing policy. People crammed into estates with little hope for the future.

And police numbers/ approach.
