Re: Sri Lanka Vs England 2nd Test

Fair play to Sibley, he gets knocked left, right and centre, and has really dug in and anchored this innings here. Hopefully it's been a very useful learning curve for him having these 2 games in Galle. Too true. Lots of people saying he cant play spin but he's anchored the 4th innings in test wher...

Re: Sri Lanka Vs England 2nd Test

Well, I'm nervous. Anyone else? Definitely squeaky bum time. Going to be very close. A saw somewhere (maybe BBC website) that it was the first time in test cricket that a team (or maybe just England?) had taken all 10 wickets with pace in 1st innings, all 10 with spin in 2nd. Very unusual obviously.

Music to the ears when opposition players/managers/fans moan on about us. Usually means we've taken points off them. The 2-2 at Chelsea the other year was my favourite with Sarri, Luiz, Zola etc really whining and whingeing.

Yes it's a turning pitch, but 74 shouldn't present too many problems, all 3 dismissals have been poor, Sibley leaving a straight ball, Crawley playing a rash shot, and as for the run out between our 2 most experienced batters, that's schoolboy cricket is that. Agreed. On the rare occasions you actually want Arsenal to turn it on and win, they let you down.

Looking at the teams, Gunners have a very decent set of attacking players; not sure about their defence and propensity for going down to 10 players though.
