Re: Team v Villa
I honestly wonder what games some of you are watching in reference to the amdouni criticism. The lad gets us further up the pitch and often comes out with the ball in some tight spaces resulting in the opposition running back towards their own goal.

‘Awful footballers’ simply do not score 49 goals in 144 PL appearances - especially for Burnley. The whole team was set up to accommodate him. A lot of games we may as well have been playing with 10 men. He scored 3 today, which will be a boost to his goals to games ratio but I’ll guarantee he will...

We basically need six wins plus a few draws to stay up. The home games against Wolves, Fulham, Brentford, Bournemouth, Forest & Luton plus Sheff United away are the ones realistically available. Unless matches like today can spring a surprise. 6 wins and 2 draws puts us on 31 points which won’t be ...

Because no PL team has ever gone down with sub-20 points, kept the same manager and been promoted, nevermind walked the league. I just worry about losing a high percentage of the fan base. We weren't doing that at the start of the season before Taylor came in. Given that Roberts was the one commonly coming in to midfield last year it's probably more a reflection of how he has struggled. We absolutely played with an inverted full back at the start. I’m not sure how you are not able to see what’s changed? We don’t use inverted full backs anymore, instead opting to drop to a more conventional flat back 4 with both full backs offering supporting roles which is more Taylor’s game.
