It is true, their former technical director was named Rick Astley.
Wasn't it Ricky Martin?

Personally I think he and VK have been more arrogant in their approach, and under estimated the toughness of this league. I can just imagine these conversations happening: "THB for 20 million? - We could get him, but I think O'Shea is better value. Tella for £16 million? - Way overpriced, why don't ...

Stoke were free from profit and sustainability regulations last summer and as such signed 19 new players and generated optimism among supporters but it has been another poor season. Technical Director Rick Astley was sacked last week from his role and it has been given to Jon Walters on a interim b...

We have to keep Cullen, we have to keep Muric, and if we can keep hold of Benson, Zaroury, Odobert, Koleosho, Foster and Berge then that's a good base for next season. Esteve and O'Shea (Beyer, Ekdal) is more than enough at CB Full backs are where we need to invest plus a decent striker or two The r...

I can't remember a time at Burnley where both the manager and board have made so many mistakes in a short period of time mistake 1: The players from last season earned the right to be tested in the prem, not giving them game time this season has been criminal. You'd have to have massive faith in his replacement (presumably Muric) being able to do better.
At least Muric (the poor *******) should be given a chance. What exactly has Muric done wrong? Other than gradually improve since he came to the club?

What worries me the most is, can VK mend the broken relationship with some of his players and the fans? Can he evolve his tactics? Is he going to show he can learn from his stubborn mistakes? I'm not so sure anymore Last season we thought he was a genius, but it's looking more and more likely now th...

Saw a bit of Trafford last season and thought he looked "ok" Was baffled when we were linked with him Spat my brew out when I heard we'd signed him for 19 million. With some of the vitriol aimed his way by some of our 'supporters' I don't think he's ever going to recover as a BFC player. We need a Heaton in goal, for starters. A keeper who will dominate his back four by ensuring they do their job and know what that is. Trafford wouldn't know one end from the other. It's basically a firefighters role to the end of the season, I'm glad Warnock took the role at Aberdeen

I think Trafford has come in with a very strict agreement that he plays. I firmly believe, but have no evidence, that there is a buy back already agreed. What does make it a strong investment? Has there been a better performing asset over the last 14 years? The answer is no. If you had just invested £100 per month in bitcoin 10 years ago you'd now have around £180k off a £12k investment And that is just blindly doing it, not watching the market etc
