Re: Transfer Window thoughts so far?

The arrival of Cornet does for the first time in a long while give the fans something to get excited about and look forward to. So I'd put it at 7 out of 10. So far. But give our previous 2 or 3 windows have registered well below 5 the it could be argued that we need this and the next couple of wind...

Re: How many points will we have after 6 games ?

Difficult to imagine getting many, if any points
from our next 5 games as at present we look like conceding
in every game.
A draw in any of next 5 would be a start but wins are critical in the Premiership
so I'm going for 3 points. A win against Arsenal?

Seems very much like many games last season. One decent half and then we struggle.
Brighton had 64% possession to our 36% even though we matched them on chances.

Re: Can we stay up with what we have

Much depends on whether we can remain relatively injury free. If we lose 2 or more key players for any length of time then it's difficult to see us not struggle Hopefully we can still manage to bring in one, preferably two players who can make a difference. Otherwise we'll be reliant on blooding a f...

When he was setting up for the free kick you could tell he wasn't sure of himself, his positioning and the wall. He looked like a keeper about to concede, all it needed was a half decent shot. Tend to agree with Guppyspotter on this one. Pickford wasn't happy with the positioning of the wall and ma...

Re: Crystal Palace contact Burnley over Dyche compensation fee

Read somewhere that the compensation is 3m which sounds about right given Dyche has one year left on his current deal. 3m won't put Palace off I would have thought if they really want him. But not sure Palace would wish to offer Dyche a significant pay rise. He's on a decent whack at Burnley. It loo...

Much depends on whether some players leave and if so how many and whether we get any money for them. I'd be surprised if at least 2 or 3 didn't leave and there might be more. Dyche may need to be ruthless and let 2 or 3 go which will reduce the wage bill. If no one leaves then I think we'll do very ...

Well done to most of the lads. It was a team effort overall to overcome a very poor start. Luckily the three teams who were relegated also had poor starts and couldn't recover whilst we did. I think the fact that 29 points would have kept us up suggests how poor the bottom three were even though we ...

An absolute 'must win' for Fulham and for us 'not lose'. But I'd like to think we'll go for a win to put any fears to bed.
