Re: Mission to Burnley (including spoilers from page 9)
If Manny Benson wants to go on live TV and say ‘God directed the ball in the top of the bastards net’ then not only would he be wrong it would also be severely underselling himself and his abilities that he has quite rightly worked so hard for. & I would also call him a lunatic for that. Basically ...

I didn’t say that was the ‘obvious purpose’ of the documentary. Ok then, obvious theme. I don’t think I’m jumping to any conclusions. The title of the film and the trailer quite obviously point to the film having a theme of faith/religion, and I can’t believe how many people are falling over themse...

Only watched the first one - I expect it will be more enjoyable as the good times roll. Good watch though, probably not very engaging for non-Burnley fans but that doesn’t really bother me. As for those asking Spiral to apologise, what on earth does he have to apologise to anyone for? For implying ...

Unfortunately it’s impossible to tell from the footage as it’s both bleeped and the mouth blurred to stop lip readers spreading the gossip. As someone else said one of the final three was ‘a bit too much like Sean’ and I think Wilder may be a good shout.

Someone has asked Nixon on Twitter if there are any left backs linked with Burnley and the only answer was Maatsen. Might have all of our eggs in one basket on this one. Or Nixon doesn’t know. Berge said in his interview that he knew of Burnley’s interest for a while, but then we only knew about it...

I’m not sure why he’d go to Bayern to be honest. Yes he’d probably pick up silverware but winning the German league with Bayern is no great achievement, think they’ve won over 50% of German league titles.

But later it does veer closer to being an enhanced 'Season in Review' (which is fine for Burnley fans) and it isn't really a documentary.
